title:{first day of work}

Today's first day of work as chasier in ikea tampines..been quite a fruitful day ya,enjoyable & i learnt alot of new stuffs. Woke up at about 1045,bathe and have lunch before running out of the house to take bus. Night before had convo with both Candy and Debbis to meet at 1145pm at tampines shuttle bus there...but end up i was later than them..haiz.I must brush up on my punctuality le :S Felt paiseh to let them wait for me still so i told them to move on without me & meet at security area where we will be reading our palms. Then at about 1230 liddat i reached ikea and had my palm read, poor dennis...hahaha,tat fella suay sia today, his staff id and palm reading error so we had to accompany him to report to HR. And guess wht,HR's close on sat,so in the end have to report to supervisor.

So by the time we reach de cashier office, was about 1245 as our shift starts at 1pm. After our supervisor told us about some house rules to be sure of..we 3 were posted under a senior,or rather aunties..LOL. Mine was auntie florence, first thing she talked to me was cantonese & i juz smile and nod my head. But she dunno i understand wht she was saying till later part...which made her shocked. wheeeeeeee~~

Then she taught me what to do before we start "business" in counter..like taking the money and de cash boxes and some other little stuffs like taking wet cloth to clean counter as its quite dirty will those soil & wood dust underneath the counter. Being a cashier is not a easy job after all! You got to be careful with handling money and knowing how to greet your customer..aiyah,one word to describe,multi-task! i think ah...dar can become a better cashier than me sia..tat fella can multi task,more womanly than me lo..=x

I was quite a kan cheong person in nature and so when it comes to keying in de receip part,i made a few minor mistake & de auntie down der say,dun be so anxious, take your time, later you make more mistake jiu die le. Den i tired to calm myself down..lol..but luckily later part i got better in entering cash & all that. Just that i dunno how to ask customers if they have ikea member card & didnt speak loud enough for customers to hear me. Hmms...other than that,i should be doing quite fine ba..dunno..but auntie say i catch up well..alritez that's quite a compliment then=)

Then come to de stupid customer part lah..walau screw de blXXX man sia,siao one lah dey all anyhow insult us. Coz juz now got i got posted to another counter for a moment as de auntie need to see supervisor for my apprasial like how did i do lah all tat lo. Then one indian fella came carrying a yellow shopping bag which he is suppose to dispose it at de checkpoint or ratehr he cannot carry tat shopping bag outside checkpoint area. He came and asked about some customer service counter stuff i think den de auntie i was stationed with said, "excuse me sir, could you please dispose the yellow bag at the yellow cage as you are not allowed to carry it outside checkpoint area." The fella start saying,"you still haven answer my question yet, and why are you so insensitive to customer's request, you only think about yourself and the goods rather than attend to our needs, dont you think its very stupid of you? Do you find that a very stupid thing?" Then de auntie still smile smile and apologise,"I'm sorry, really really sorry about that.." He interrupted, "Now you only know how to say sorry after i said that, so you also find you are very stupid right?" Then he walked off. Retarded fella...anyhow scold,onli noe how to complaint,that's why i hate serving such race.

Then there were some customers dunno how to read words on de big big signboard, de next race..some mud race. Keep saying we never say there's no more free plastic bags & we gotta pay for it. And we keep pointing it to her,in front of the counter de board so BIG writes "NO MORE FREE PLASTIC BAGS PURCHASE AT $0.05 or $0.10 each for M & XL SIZES." Pak jiao'd sia..=.=

Then some also funny keep complainting about the plastic bags not for free & all that shit,say wht dey paid so much for the items den still have to pay for plastic bags, do what charity. Coz de plastic bags customers paid for will be donated to charity organisation. Then we advice them to bring own shopping bags or plastic bags when they go shopping, dey say its ridiculous, so when one day the world ozone layer rly gone that time den u noe lah, u are one of those who polluted de world too..den u suffer. Spoilt sia these ppl out there...onli think of themself, few years back Hong Kong already started the use shopping bags thing le, den now S'pore recently past 1 year den start. Tian ah...den dey complaint so much,wait one day *choy* if de world rly kena anything,i see how u all cry sia. Got so much money spare abit for others la..not say taking a shopping bag is so HEAVY & HARD to take..u can roll it up wad.Haiyo...

Okies..also enough complaints from me lah..hmm..den shall cut everything short, went to buy chicken wings for me & dar to eat after my work.That toot toot lah..take bus 89 all de way to sengkang coz he miss one stop. LOL...then gotta take 27 back to ikea & was sligtly late,but its ok..coz i need to get stuffs & sign off at security area & all that. Then when i passed de chicken wings to dar that time, i told him to meet me at carpark there instead den i ask him, "you noe where's de carpark?"
dar: *innocent face and shook his head slowly*
me: *haiz* "Its downstairs only,below the checkpoint there."
dar: *innocent face again & shook head slowly*
me:ok..nvm, you wait for me here ok?
dar: *nods head* "orh"
me: "dont walk about, just sit down there first k, i'll be right back."
dar: "orh" *nods head again"
(I feel like laughing & dying [ku1 xiao4 bu4 de2] at de same time, is that my son gonna be liddat in de future too?=.='')

And we met Shundel at de security area, she was quite surprised to see the three of us standing down there, and we accompanied her to locker area and i went off first as i left my russian water bottle at de staff cafe, den i bade de rest farewell as i go get my bottle back & look for dar. And yah..we spent de night eating dinner at long johns,went alex's hse after we slowly sit at some area to talk. Then ben made me get hooked on some psp game,deejay i overheard alex saying. Teehee...me wanna play that game man,miss it..haish,dar,upgrade de card k,den i can play le..^^

Den mummy called and gotta be sent home immediately le..so he walked me to interchange and i saw 291 and ran for it. Tml's another day le..wheeee, and yah last of all,i abit hooked on scanning de goods at de counter le with that laser scanner..ahahahahaha=X
